Default 1968 Radiator Decal?

1968.... The Harrison Radiator decal - drivers or passengers side??

It's not in the AIM that I could find. Thanks!

Hi w,
I believe they're generally on the right side of the aluminum radiators.
Regards,
Alan

Thank you.
Since you "think" - I "think" I'll wait for a second opinion that's certain though.

Hi W,
I don't want to seem like a know-it-all...... the Harrison sticker was on the right side of aluminum radiators.
Regards,
Alan

That's better. Your first post just didn't sound positively certain is all.

Hi IC,
I believe that whether a car had a copper or aluminum radiator depended on model year, engine, transmission, and the a/c option.

Alan

Correct. Also correct on placement of the sticker.

Clams: this will help you.

The AIM does not show the Harrison decal because it was not placed on the radiator by assembly line personnel. It was on the radiator when Harrison shipped the radiator to St. Louis.

Here is a photo of the original radiator in my 68. Although the sticker and radiator have seen their better day, the placement of the sticker can be seen clearly.

It looks like everything was sprayed flat black.

Definitely not flat, although the photo may make it look that way. I didn't do that paint, so I don't know for sure. But appearance in person is either a semi-gloss loosing its luster or a semi-flat.

It's a late '68 - it's on the firewall.
