Default B pillar trim

HI

Does any one have any instructions for removing the "B" pillar trims on the inside of a 1973 T-top?

i took the screws out of the outside strip, and 1- from the seat belt shoulder trim- and 1- near the T top latch, are there any others? seems like it is still held near the rubber weather strip area, but i know if i pull that weather strip off i will destroy it, and was hoping to replace it at a later date when i re-paint the car-- perhaps too someone might have a used set of these weatherstrips to get me by- they are ABOUT a foot or so in length.

thank you!!!

Hi 73,
The lock pillar interior trim panel goes on first so the rear halo trim (1 each side) need to come off to release the lock pillar trim panel.
Have you tried that?
Regards,
Alan

It's the panel on the right in this picture.

You can see the screw to the right in this picture. There may be an addition screw in the dimple you see at the top/center of the trim panel.

The assembly instruction manual (AIM) will help. It shows how the trim was installed. It also shows the installation of the door ajar switches you were asking about.

Hi 73,
Yes.
IF you want to take the lock pillar interior trim panel off.
No need to touch ANY weatherstrip that's in it's proper place.
