Default Wilcox any problems ??

I have not used these folk's before. I just put a order in a few days ago and they still have not shipped yet. I called them about it and the said it needed to be built (print board Tack).

Just wondering if this happens often with them??

This is not a rant or complaint... just asking.

That's a speciality item and they are building it for you. And told you was being done. Sounds reasonable to me. What more can you ask for?

They really try and will talk to you on the phone or email.
The only reason I don't get anything from them is because I would have to pay Indiana sales tax because were both in Indiana.

One time I ordered some parts - and I didn't even get them until the next day.....but at least the order was right and they were great to work with...other than that - no problems!

I order from Wilcox for all of my vette needs. Whenever I call them I am never on hold which is great, they always help me without seeming frustrated! I do wish they had tracking info for orders.

willcox will even tell you which other vendor they get their parts from, and what my delay said parts arrival. I love dealing with these guys whenever i can.

I place an order just about every week. They always take care of me. The other day I ordered the assembly manual CD for my 68 and the binder for the hard copy I found on Ebay.

Jack called me and wanted to make sure that I knew I had ordered a CD and wouldn't need a binder.

Norm is always very helpful in finding the items I need and putting my order together.

I don't know what I would do without them.

sometimes Willcox has to wait for their vendor to get parts in stock before they can ship. Willcox does not make the parts, but buys them from someone else, and when they are out of stock, they have to wait on them.

ALWAYS.....call before ordering and find out things like delivery time, in stock or not, backordered, these cars are 40 years old and most of the venders carry the same products, if one doesnt have it, the other will. in fact, some of the venders will shop around for you, so you order from one and it shows up in the packaging of another.

Willcox is probably the best vendor out there right now for our C3's!

They are delivering some bits at the moment to a friend of mine who is bringing them back to the UK on the 19th. So the pressure is on for them to deliver
Next big test for them will be my next order that will need to be shipped to Bonnie Scotland

The biggest problem I have with Wilcox is that they provide so much technical support, that they often make other vendors I like look bad.

The only disagreement I have had with them was trying to convince Ernie that there are two different seat back frames for early C3s depending on whether they were coupe or convertible. I don't think I have him convinced yet, but I haven't sent him my latest pictures yet.

Because Willcox doesn't make their own parts, they will shop for the best quality and price from other vendors, and usually are cheaper than ordering from that particular vendor yourself (go figure).

My vendors of choice are Willcox & Zip. Products as described, received items in a reasonable time and notified when an items were on back order and would take longer. So yes you can feel confident with these vendors.
