I got the new seats, but waiting on the brackets.
When I put 'em back in, I always raise them by an inch using 1/4"x1" close pipe nipples and longer, socket head cap screws (1-3/4" if I remember correctly) with threads matching the ones where the original bolts came out. A little patience when rethreading into those holes will prevent cross threading, which is very likely if you're in a hurry. Chasing the old threads with the correct tap before reassembly and lightly oiling the new screws is also a best practice on old stuff. The pipe nipples go between the seat frame and the slider brackets (steel to steel) and enable much better front visibility while driving! U.M.............

Default Finally got the seats in

It took a while, but it's done. I got the seats from Summit. The brackets were back ordered. We went to Jamaica for a week and the brackets were here when we got back on Saturday. I had to cut two slots off the slider legs with an angle grinder to get them to fit. Visibility of the front end is great now and the seats are comfortable.
