The pre-cut bezels have a $100 surcharge for 20 minutes of work.
Got the bezel from wilcox. Jigsaw or dremel on low speed and it's eeeeasy. Just measure a couple times.
If you're doing a later model(77-82 I believe), they have adapters to attach connect to the stock harness. You'll need to add your own memory wire (always-hot 12V).
Looks GREAT that's exactly what I want to do. I just added some pioneer 3way 4x6 speakers now I'm trying to figure out how to remove the instrument cluster panel. It's stuck in there good. I took out the old radio already. What's holding the radio in place? Is there something behind the radio or some sort of bracket you got to secure the radio in the new opening?
The plan is to take out the console and use a dremel with a cutting disk. I just cant figure out how to remove the console. I took out the two top screws then the two side screws. There there were a couple of screws / pins attached to the center console. Also the old radio is out. Any advice on taking out that console?
I got lucky the previous owner prewired the radio with the adapter for a Pioneer cassette player. I just need to figure out the pin layout.

I did, however, get my new bezel from Willcox.

Trim piece is a great idea. If I can figure out how to take out the Bezel I'll take that route. I may even just order a new bezel for $45 and cut that out. If I have the trim piece to cover my mess all should be good. I just need to get the center piece out. I was planning on trying to recondition my bezel first. Was going to lightly sand clean and spray see how that comes out before ordering a new bezel and trimming.

Buy the $7 trim piece.(i can get you the number if you need if your bezel is the early curved type.)
