Hit the search button and enter carpet, Alan71 has some pics which are helpful. I`m in the same boat on my `72.

Got the two fronts on tonight, man what a pain once I got the drivers side and had it figured out the passenger went on relatively quick. I also put down some sound/heat shield that I got from Vettenuts so that took some time as well but I'm happy with the way it looks, will tackle the rear probably during the week but can't do the cargo area floor since I need to get new storage frame and doors and I'm guessing the cargo area floor carpet has to go under the storage frame.

Bad thing is if your doing a whole install you should have started from the back and worked forward, just did my 76.

Yeah I did think of that but as I said I need to get the storage compartment, frame doors and all, which are not in the budget for another payday or two and I NEEDED to get some carpet noise/heat barrier in there.

Hey, I like the "T" handle and have been thinking of putting one on my shifter, was there in issue with pulling up the reverse lockout?

Oh, by the way, you did a really nice job

You have to get the handle "tap and died" out to a 19/16X18 thread and add a little washer in the bottom to get it to sit where you want it to fit in your hand.
Its a little higher so you have to reach a little further for the reverse thing.
