Default First vette

i just purchased my first vette to restore. The guy before me stripped it all the way down to the bare fiberglass. What should I put on it so I don't keep getting fibers in my skin? Also, I'm pretty mechanically inclined so what would be the best material out there to help in the restoration. I already have the AIM and the corvette restoration guide, chassis service manual. Anything else I should get? Thanks.

You should not be getting fiberglass fibers on your skin. Was the PO in the process of doing body work on the car?

Put a coat or two of good quality primer on it then see what you have.

Thanks. I believe he was just stripping the paint off and that's all he got to. Any suggestions on what brand of primer. I'm not concentrating much on the body work now as my plan is to get the body pulled and then work on the chassis. It only has 30,000 original miles so it's in good shape body wise. The only problem I have found so far is some pitting on the driver and passenger birdcage pillars. I plan to have a shop fix those as I'm not much of a welder. Thanks.
