Default lower dashpad question

What years were the lower driver side dashpads different from each other? I know 68 has the key in the dash making it a one year - are they the same from 69 to around 77?
I need a new pad for my 70 and some catalogs breakout 69 and 70 separate and some have 69-77 all the same.

Thanks
Steve

70 to 76 are pretty much all the same.

'69-'77 are 'physically' the same and are interchangable. But, the surface texture (grain) on the mid-70's interior parts is a bit different from the early '70s cars. Not sure when that difference was made....possibly in '73 or 74.

Check the 70 assembly instruction manual for what you need. Some model years have a knee vent for the AC pads; others do not.

Look carefully at any stitching as well.

For us.. on the forum special price section we have one number that covers all 1968-1977.. and then you specify the year and color.... we'll get it right.. On the regular side of our site we have each year and color broken down with a part number.

This keeps us from having to have 5 different links when one will cover it as long as the customer specifies the info needed.

Here is the correct application.

1968 one year
1969 one year
1970 one year
1971-1976 (need to know with or without a/c on some years here)
1977
