Spare tire light??
My spare tire light on my 82 has discenergrated and can't find a replacement. They show the liscense plate light will work which I bought but it's completely different. What can I do for this??

The 75-82 license lamp, is often advertised as being the 78-82 spare tire lamp, but it's not correct for an 80-82.
The 75-82 Corvette license lamp, was used on 78-79 Corvettes as the spare tire lamp. The 80 and 81-82 Corvettes, used a unique lamp, that was different than the license lamp.
I'm not aware of any source for a new or repro 81-82 lamp, but you may be able to find a good used one.
