Default Steering seems too light

I have a 74, power steering, and the steering seems very light at normal speeds. Seems like very little movement of the wheel causes the car to turn and then I need to correct back the opposit way. Is this normal, this is the only vette I have owned so nothing to compare to. Could this be worn front suspension or power steering issue?

Depends on what you mean by little. Mine has a little movement in it, but it turns very well. If it is so light that you can't keep the car straight, then there is issue. I wouldn't say the suspension would the be problem. I would start with the alignment, steering column, or power steering setup. I have never had to take this apart before so I really don't know.

Just my two, inexperienced, cents.

I found that if the front tire pressure is above 22 psi in my vette that the steering is pretty light on mine also.

Sounds like toe out. Get a GOOD guy to do a four wheel alignment. Many shops have the equipment , are willing to charge money for the service, and do a $%&@! job. Find yourself a pro.
