Finally got all the body work done. Final wet sand on the hood and t-tops this morning, taped up and masked off this afternoon.
Shooting color tomorrow morning.

Got the sealer shot on this morning, then started with the color.

I am HAPPY with this.
That is a stock 81 hood with an Ecklers L88 fiberglass scoop grafted and molded in. It also has the matching air box and L88 air cleaner under there and all the underhood is molded and painted to match the outside.
Tomorrow I'll untape it and probably just sit there and look at it for a while.
Give it a week for the paint to cure and then get serious about putting the interior back in it.

great work. the sad part is you just can't do it justice in a picture. I bet it looks killer in the sun or with the right lighting hitting that thing. I bet you can't wait to take it out for a spin when its done.
