Ricwatson, I have owned my 68 coupe for over 40 years. My wife helped me change the frame and engine in the car! There are more corvette clubs around you, than I have here in Myrtle Beach,SC. Search the internet for them. One is Cape Fear Corvettes. Another is at Jacksonville. I will bet you there is one near Fayetteville. I have always worked on my car for two reasons, money first and not being able to trust someone else to touch my "RAIN MAGNET". I worked in maintenance at the original MTD plant in Parma, Ohio for 34 years and we made corvette parts. Please see my CF thread "Along time chrome bumper owner speaks" on the general thread.

Welcome to the madness!!! I like the make a list plan but I would suggest 2 lists. One a must do/must have and the other I want list. I've had my 78 since '04 and jsut this year am I starting to think more on the I want list. Enjoy, pay close to attention to some of the folks on these boards thater is a lot of knowledge here to be shared.
