Heater Control Help
I have an issue that just came up on my 82' heater controls. The slide would not go past the A/C and Max area and there was a vacuum hissing sound. After working it back and forth, the lever let loose and I have only air/heat coming from a/c ducts. I cannot control any other direction and the lever is traveling smoothly. How hard is it to get into this area and does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

You can get minimum access by removing the carpeted console side panels. If you need to go further, you will have to loosen/remove the console trim plate. The HVAC controls mount to the under side of the trim plate.
