Default 1998 z28 just purchased. Let the games begin!

Yesterday I bought a 98 z28, it had a engine with a knock. I plan on taking everything out of it and stuffing it in my 75. I don't know if I can save the motor (ls1) or not, but I am at least hoping to use the comp, intake, ac....yadda yadda....from it. I am pretty excited. And so is my 75.

i just rebuilt my friends 1997 Z-28 motor , it was an lt-1 , turned it into a 383 stroker. was a pita to get the motor out and back in. the book said to remove cross member , front suspension and take it out the bottom but i did it the old fashioned way. lt-1's are reverse water pump and ls's are the same i think. good luck.

Rod knock? Sounds like a good excuse for a stroker kit.
