What is a fair price to pay for L48 pace car, auto trans, approx 1,000 miles with original tires and plastic on the seats, I know the L82 is more desirable and I do not know the real market on an L48 with low miles or seen one actually sell lately to gauge the market on one. thanks for your help
More details will get you opinions. How was the car stored? How many owners? What documntation is included? Can you post pictures of exterior, interior, underhood, and undercarriage?
original window sticker and possibly other paperwork as it has been in the original owners immediate family after he passed away, always stored indoors and in 1K original mile condition
FWIW: pass on this one unless you're going to put it in your museum. Make any changes to it or put any mileage on it and it begins to lose value.
I realize the car is probably "as new," but the "new" was thirty five years ago.
Good advice!
If you want to drive the car you are far better off buying one that has been driven and has some miles on it but is in very good to excellent condition for probably 1/2 to 2/3 of what ever the asking price is on this car. These cars are much more fun to drive than they are to look at.
