he "other" brand is ACC Brand and just like our site say's it is our personal choice. Its what we install in our shop every month and has proven superior to us.
Pro-choice carpet has proven to be a headache in the past especially when an issue comes up. The heat barrier, which they push as an advertisement gig is is nothing more than cheesy bubble insulation that I wouldn't install.
I can get you Knoch carpet if you desire that's not an issue either.
I got to thinking about your question the other day in regards to the front set of carpet and the heat riser and by the time you get just the front and riser you could have probably purchased the entire set.
I ordered my Al Knoch carpet (full set) direct from Knoch. I just ordered them a few days ago so have yet to receive them. I went with Knoch after talking with a number of other owners, a couple of Corvette shops and a local auto and boat carpet/upholstery business. I payed $275 for the full set including the jute backing. I'll let you know how they turned out after I get them installed. BTW, the auto and boat carpet and upholstery place I mentioned is now doing the entire interior of 237 foot yacht. They do a lot of high end stuff.
