Default 75 Coup Garage Find

Ok so I found this white with saddle interior non ac optioned vette in good shape for $4,500. This car has been sitting in a garage or carport most of it's life and has only 45,000 documented original miles on the clock. Both front and rear bumpers need replacing and the interior and exterior need a bit of a refresh/cleaning. What does everyone here think of the price? $4500 a good deal? No pic's yet but will post if I purchase it.

Check the frame for rust before you do anything.

This would be a lot more fun with pictures but.......

rust? where and how much???

what is original??? particularly the motor and trans, matching vin der???

And this usually takes all of the fun out of this, and it has never caused me to slow down and think, but.....if you do all of the labor yourself, so we will not count that.....how much can you afford to spend in parts, and out of pocket money to equal what a nice in great shape (like yours will be) 75 in the market place today???

I say half the fun is looking (and come to think of it, that is true of a lot of things in life, LOL's!!!)

Just surface rust on frame and no rust on birdcage. This is my 5th Corvette. Three C3's, one C4 and a 2002 C5. The Vette was last licensed in 1988 and paperwork is in hand for dates, mileage ect to document the mileage.

You'll need to post some pictures before buying and at least provide details of other options. Coupe vs. convertible is the biggest $$. L48 or L82? 4-speed or automatic? In the end, its a smog, rubber bumper C3 that's not running, probably more of a headache than its worth.
