Default 72 Convert Rear Deck question

Where do the two slotted holes go on the rear rain rails? Where the folding deck weather stripping meets the hard rain rail. The are about 1 inch long.

Would like to know what to expect before I pour water down them. I got some water in the back.

Thanks

It is my recollection that they are a steel drain, part of the body structure, and should pipe the water down and out, if they leak, they probably rusted through.....

Not really what I wanted to hear. That is probably the same metal that the Hing assembly is connected to.

Many thanks. will check today

I took a can of air and sprayed it into the holes yesterday. Didn't hear a thing inside the car. Poured water into the holes. No leak inside but the water was coming out around the front of the gas tank. I was able to look inside and it looks like the drainage is part/molded into the fiberglass. Since I'm at it might as well drop the tire carrier and find where exactly it is coming from.

Now back to why I had water in drivers side #4 body mount cavifty. Weather stripping maybe. Will have to check that.
