I'm looking at a 72 vette and the car has a couple blemishes around the front passenger headlight
Crack in fiberglass
and some small cracks in the paint. You can barely tell because of the glare
Is this something that can be repaired and painted without having to repaint the whole front end? Cost? Also is there a good chance that the car was hit at some point or could this be from improper preparation for paint? The car was repainted a while back. I couldn't find any signs of body work or the car being in an accident, although I could've looked harder. Other than those spots the car is pretty solid so it won't be a deal breaker
I would think that a good body shop with experience doing corvette bodywork would be able to fix that easily. The front end of mine looked much worse after I got hit and they were able to make it look like new.
