correct carbuerator
I have a 71 454 the carb # 7043202 quardajet. I tried to match it up, everything is original. I was told that carb belongs to a 73 350. Can anyone tell me if its original equipment
Help. Also looking for the carb vacuum set up

The '71 454 carb for an auto tranny car was 7041204; for manual tranny, it was 7041205. The carb you have came from a '73 car or truck with 454 and automatic trans.
For vacuum hookup, as well as any other assembly information, you should get a copy of the A.I.M. The '71 cars had the TCS system and the Combination Emission Control System (CEC); so the carb had the CEC solenoid mounted to the left/front of the carb and it modulated the throttle linkage. Again, you should get a copy of the A.I.M. and a copy of the Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual. The latter details that emissions system completely...as well as all the other systems in the car.
