Decided to fire up the steam washer to clean some things.
Did the wheels around the lug nuts where it is hard to get to. Satisfied. Cleaned up most of the gradeaux around them.
Decided to do the windshield and rear window, which has a lot of water spots that nothing I did got rid of them. But the steam took them off. Nice. Also hit the windshield wipers. Think it cleaned them up also.
Here's a tip from my days working at a car wash.
When you (pressure/steam) wash the engine,
have it running.
It's easier to keep an engine running than it is trying to start a wet one.
Cheers,
Gav
How does this work? Are you still wiping the car down? Is it suppose to replace water? How does it prevent micro-scratches without the soap and water as lubricate?
I have never seen / heard this before so I am intrigued.
hey i wanted to see the steamer too.we used to use steam to clean air conditioning coils but someone got burned and the company scrapped the idea.did a good job though.
