Currently have the dash out and would like to spray something inside the windshield pillar area to try and seal a water leak. With everything out of the way i can get to the back of the area i suspect is leaking, spray it down with something in hopes it runs into the crack and seal it up. I am thinking sprayon bed linner would be better that uncoating, it seems to spray ong thinner and run when applied heavily. Any suggestions?
I think sealing up the backside behind the dash is a good idea. From many years of sealing leaks (basement walls, windshields, house roofs, etc,) I think you should look at the firewall side, also. You'll get the best results by sealing up the side where the water comes from rather than where it goes once it's through the crack. Good luck!

I agree sealing from the outside is best, once i determined where it was coming from i used spray on bed liner & laid it on heavy so it would run down into the cracks. The back side is just preventative.
