Alternate to clock gauge
In my 74 there is no clock but another guage in its place what is it?

Ya I forgot to post the picture, its a vacuum gauge Im pretty sure.
I looked quick it looked like a stock gauge.

I removed the clock and installed an 81 oil temp gauge there, it tells trans temp.

And, once the engine warms up, does that tranny temp gauge needle ever move?

The vacuum gauge is a great idea. I just purchased one on Ebay, a neat looking vintage Auto Meter 'Fuel Saver' gauge with the colored bands.

I like it better than the useless clock that was right twice a day at 4:20!
