Way back when I was first getting into cars, I opened the April of '98 issue of Vette magazine which had a write up on a'69 Lemans Blue coupe. I just knew that one day I have to own one provided I could find one in good shape and I could afford it.
A few weeks ago I found the car of my dreams and it's now in my garage! It's a '69 Lemans Blue with bright blue vinyl interior, L46, M21 car. I believe the only options on the car aside from the engine is the radio, fender louver trim and the red stripe tires. The block, transmission and rear end are all matching numbers, it's not a perfect car but there are a few little weekend projects ahead of me which I'm looking forward to. 15 years since I first laid eyes on the car was well worth the wait!
Thanks everyone! I took a rental car on a one way trip to pick it up, a 4 hour drive in a 44 year old car that I had only test drove before, what could possibly go wrong?! Absolutely nothing did!
Many years ago, I had a '68 International Blue coupe with that Bright Blue interior. That interior color was almost irridecsent...I just loved it. Congrats on finding that 'one-in-a-million' car that you have been dreaming about for so many years.

Now, get to work!!
Thanks! I actually looked at an International Blue '68 but needed a good bit more work than I was wanting to put into it. Of course the seller's pictures were from when he purchased it 6 years ago.
I've been working on her a good bit, taking care of odds and ends here and there. Next on the list is fixing the annoying headlight shake whenever I hit a bump. I bet it's a bushing or two that have been worn out.
Wow ... 15 years is a serious case of "love at first sight"! Congratulations on achieving your dream. Now, you can enjoy living it out every day. That's a great looking car!
