Jerry,
That car has some issues. The cylinder case has been surfaced with a re-stamp using the proper gang holder and stamps, however the positioning of the VIN is off. It doesn't have any factory docs that I'm aware of; and I do have it in the LS6 registry. It isn't the earliest or one that was sent from GM for road tests.

At this time there is no absolute exact answer available, however we do have some accurate information to extrapolate some figures from. All of the M22 special transmissions went into the LS6 Corvette except for 8 which went into the LT-1 ZR1. That leaves 66 of the 188 cars to have been equipped with either the TH400 or the M21 transmission.
I have further information to validate this breakdown.[/QUOTE]
So are you saying that no LT1s ( Not ZR1s) left the factory with a M-22 ?
Hope to see you out in Carlisle this August; missed it last year. There are some LS6 Corvettes presently for sale on various sites, the prices are all over the place. So much mis-information out there being taken as facts, no wonder potential Corvette buyers are confused.
