What prodicts do you guys use on your tires? I've been using Armor Al and it seems to yellow my white letters after a while,( I like them bright white). I've heard Zaino makes a good product . What do you think?
I use the same thing I polish the car with.."Lemon Pledge".. At a display some years ago the NASCAR guy said that's what they use on the tires also....So now I do also ...
Aerospace 303 protectant is an awesome product. Great for tires, vinyl soft tops. UV protection and it lasts a long time. Check it out! Go to the car care section of the forum and do a search. Good luck!

Lemon Pledge, you don't say. Might have to try that.
I used it on my Imron painted planes for years...Windshields and all... No abrasives,,,, Not a all weather, outdoor, hail protrection wax... Just a show shine....And at SAM's vellly cheap ....,,,
Zaino!!! Gives the tire a nice clean black satin finish w/o gelatinous slinging goop when you drive. Also, it doesn't give that super wet look and sand doesn't stick to it. I use it on my '68 black walls, my '73 w/ white lettering (no yellowing), as well as my Jeeps 35" Nitto Grapplers, my wife's Caddie, my daughters Camaro and sons Mountaineer. And it lasts through a couple car washes and rain

A salesman who sold us a car in 2002 said he used Lemon Pledge on his personal car. I can't recall now what year or model it was, but it wasn't new or anywhere near new. It looked like it rolled off the showroom floor, tires included.
If you've attended any fancy Concours with huge dollar cars being presented you'll notice that those cars have nothing on their tires. Those folks prep their tires by cleaning them with a very fine steel wool (this takes time folks ) and then hand buffing the tire with a cotton towel.
Pledge does smell nice but I wouldn't let it near any of my cars and I certainly would never use it on any fine furniture either. You've got to try the steel wool way at least once (as I said, allow yourself some time). If you don't like the results you can always spray goop all over your tires .

Another vote for 303 Aerospace Protectant. It leaves a nice matte, non greasy finish that won't sling. Nourishes the rubber and provides UV protection.
Zaino Z16 is an excellent product. I used it in the past, but for tires I really like the 303. Still like the Zaino line of products for paint
