Default Leather Cleaner Recommendations

Anybody care to recommend a really good leather cleaner? Looking to attack the seats in my 1976.

I have been using Lexol for many years and have been very happy with the results.

My vote for Lexol and also their vinyl product. I usually really lay it on and then massage the Lexol into the seats with my hands, rubbing the oil all over the curves and into the crevices. And as the Lexol warms up, I start working it in circles, feeling the supple leather soften under my hot hands... and then....

Griot's Garage has a full line of leather care and cleaning products. I use their interior cleaner on all my leather items, both in the garage and in the house. Then, depending on the condition of the leather, I use the leather rejuvenator or leather care to keep things soft. Best of all, their leather conditioner actually smells like leather, so the car smells great for weeks afterward! check 'em out at www.griotsgarage.com

I'll check it out! But man, the Lexol works good too (and I really rub it in by hand too!). This is for my other Vette, the 95 C4. 18 YO and they're still firm and supple! Damn, leather just does that for me!

Default Autogeek - pinnacle

I am a devotee of Autogeek.net and they have great tips and products for all detailing. I have learned a great deal from their forums and i think the Pinnacle leather cleaner is tops. Just as important as the cleaner is the applicator to make sure you clean the "nap"/ grain correctly.

Check them out if you are not familiar with them.
