Hi guys, first post, long time lurker. Was wondering if you could give me some advice regarding the rear spring on the above mentioned vehicle. I bought the deluxe full polly bushing set for the front end from Corvette America and have new 550lb/in F41 springs to go in at the same time. What I am wanting to know is - Does the performance composite spring Corvette America sell work as well as the ones Hyper coils sell? has anyone used the composite spring from Corvette America, and would the Corvette America composite spring match well with the 550lb/in front springs? I have read that the 360lb spring works the best. Any tips and advice would be most welcome. Should also mention I am located down in Auckland New Zealand
Cheers

Reason: Spelling
Certainly, the original mono-leaf spring is not stiff enough to be compatible with what you are going to put on the front. I think it was around 200#/in rating. You can buy 315, 330, 340 or 360 #/in springs in the aftermarket. But, you need to buy one that is 'shaped' correctly. Some brands have the same shape to all springs in that 'family'; and the stiffer ones just cause the rear of your car to be jacked up and look "stoopid".
Ask before you buy. If the vendor doesn't know what you are asking....hang up and call another one.
P.S. I have personallynot had very good success with stuff I purchased from Corvette America. And, they just resell those suspension items...they do not manufacture them.
