62 in a couple of months. I currently own 3 Corvettes. '72 454 that I purchased in '74. A '74 L82 4 speed with gymkhana suspension that I bought just a couple of months ago. My '09 Z06 that I took delivery of in July of '08. I have had a few others along the way. Cars have outlasted all the wives; so far.

62 this fall. Had my 70 about 15 years. No plans to retire cuz I like to spend $$ too much and have way too many hobbies.
Don't feel so old after reading a thread last year about a 96 yo guy in the C2 section still wokring on his vette. Was asking about the process to adjust/check valve lash on his solid lifter BB.
57 TODAY! Bought my first Corvette ('74 Convertible) at the tender age of 19. In the following 38 years I've had one (or more) Corvettes. Well...there WAS a stretch where I was vetteless, it was the worst year and a half of my life.
28 - so too young to be messing around with a woman 17 years my senior. This is my second Corvette and the one I've wanted since I was little (1969 coupe, BBC, 4 speed).
The trend in the poll is about what I see here at home: there are a few younger C3 owners but most are older gents. My generation seems more interested in tuned imports or modern muscle (Camaros/Mustangs/Challengers/Chargers).
On the bright side, at least they are into cars...
True, but only in so much as they're into the "fast and furious" street-racing culture, not because they care about the cars themselves, or the simply joy of cruising.
True for some, not true for others. I know guys exactly like who you are describing. I also have friends who are as passionate about Japanese cars as I am about classic American cars. It's not my thing, but truly the guy who builds his own turbo system from scratch for his little Daihatsu is a true gear head.

I must be in your generation! I bought my Camaro convertible muscle car off the showroom floor in 1969.......just a couple years before you young guys latched on to the "New Body Style"........LOL!
59 pushing 60 here. Corvette's have been in the family since grandpa bought grandma a new 1958. After owning a bunch of muscle cars over the years I finally bought a 1980 Corvette about four years ago to make my own. Then I bought two 77's last summer and intend to make one good car from them. My 80 is my pride and joy. My wife acts jealous sometimes, but I know she is teasing. BTW, this weekend is my 35th wedding anniversary. I hope I keep my cars as long as she has kept me!
About to be 47, been here a long time!
Bought a 71 a couplel of months ago ,ordered a 2015 last week. I'm also a proud member of the NCRS. Put a 70 through the program in 04-06
