looking for 1973 coupe
I dont know what has come over me but I have this burning need to find a 1973 coupe I once owned. The intention is to see if it still exists and possible purchase.
I do not have the VIN number. I do have an old wisconsin plate number from 1980.
Car is a 73 coupe. L48 auto air. Standard tan interior. Last time I saw the car it was Red exterior. I think originally it was green. When I owned it it was black.
Last time I saw the car it was at Petes auto body in neenah Wisconsin.
the year would have been about ... gulp ... 1981.
Pete purchased the car from me as I smashed it and could not afford to repair it. Pete then repaired the car and sold it. He may have sold it though Comstock Corvette in Neenah.
Just a shot in the dark if someone has a red/tan L48 vett in the fox valley area it could be it.

Tons of research so far have come up empty.
I have contacted the WI DOT. They were very nice and helpful.
Since I did own this car and I am requesting my own record of it they may be able to provide me with the VIN.
Will post if I get lucky and they find the record of the VIN.
