Removable Rear Window Fit???
With temps finally getting to where I might be able to use the super black 3m adhesive to fit the new weatherstrip for my removable rear window conversion on my 75, I'm getting close to finishing it off.
But of course, I have a minor problem. The window itself hangs up a little on the interior halo trim evrytime I try to put the window in or take it out. I've tried tightening thse pieces down further and adjusting the bottom pegs a bit, but no change... Anybody else have this issue who replaced their original window with this type of conversion??? If so, how did you fix it???

Hi S,
What are you using where the 2 pegs slip into the lower window sill?
On the original nylon part it looks like it might be able to be shaved just a little which might let the window sit down enough to clear the halo trim.

What happens if you try to the window without the nylon spacer? Does that give you the clearance?

Thanks so much Alan... I'm sure this weekend when I get back at it, I'll take a half a second and remove that nylon/plastic spacer. That may do the trick... I should have thought of that, especially before I bought new ones.
I knew I didn't want to tangle with it just then, while I have so many other "little" projects, but now that you mention it it seem so obvious.
