What's the Function?
What are these and what do they do? Looking at pulling my 1970's manifolds to have them coated and want to make sure I have all the parts to put them back on...so bolts, gaskets, and maybe these?

They are "french locks"...and when they are used with your OUTER manifold mounting bolts and flat washers UNDER them...when you tighten and torque your manifold bolts...you then bend ONE tab against the flat side of your bolt where only ONE tab will be able to be bent against the flat side of your hex bolt.....THUS.... making it so the bolt can not loosen over time.

Hi B,
I believe you'll find that a similar 'french lock' is used on the half-shaft flange bolts at the spindle flange.
Regards,
Alan
