Default Rottpups - 69 Corvette

I own a titled 69 Corvette. However, I have recently learned that it has 68 doors, interior and back lights. Would like to sell but don't know how to advertise it.

Does the title match the car? Does the engine match the title? Is it possible that a very early production 69 used some 68 parts? The questions just keep coming...

No!

Some parts carried over into early 69, like the 2 piece T-top weatherstrip, but not major components like the doors, interior and rear valance panel with the back up lamps in it.

What is the VIN? My guess is the car is probably a 68 and has been incorrectly titled.

After you verify the title is correct and the VIN is a 1969 VIN, you advertise it like this:

"For Sale: 1969 Corvette. Has several 1968 parts including interior, rear valance and doors."

I sure would want to know what was going on there, though. Rebuilt wreck? Is it a Salvage title?

If so, that has to be in the ad, too.

This doesn't happen to be a white one that's for sale in Florida is it?
There is another thread talking about the same thing.....
