Default Headlights warning buzz

On the way home from cruising around Ocean City tonight about half way home the "You left Your lights on Dummy" warning buzz started. I had my headlights on and about 10 minutes into the 15 minute ride home it started buzzing. I pulled over, shut my lights off and it stopped. Shut the car off, then restarted it, put on my lights and it started again.

Anyone have any ideas what to look for?

Thanks

i had this hapen to me before. got home found that the little buzzer plugs in like a fuze into the connector by the fuze box. mine was loose and loosing the connection was causing it to think the car was turned off. check the connections look for a loose power wire or ground wire both. i do not know if the switches are wired to activate with ground loss or power loss. either way if it looses or gains it's complete circuit signal it will think the engine is off an that the lights are on. thus you get the buzzer hope this helps
