I've not done this before so this is just my first guess. If you supported the outside edges with them face dowh and put a weight of some sort where you need to take the bow out, add heat a little at a time with a heat gun, could you get the bow out of the panel?
I have a couple to install in the 78. If they are bowed "in" at the center the goal will be to reverse that bowing.
What I'm thinking, is when I make Kydex holsters that is how I releave areas that are clamping to tight on the gun. It's easy to make slight changes in the kydex. The plastic in the door panel may work the same way.
Hi you should have got the screws in the kit,I did when i did the interior on my 75 2 screws with captive washers i got with my kit,carefull what washers u use my one that were on the car cut into door panel replacement ones were better
