Default bleeding brakes with mighty vac, question

i used the mighty vac tonight to get fluid to each of the calipers...works great, and i now have a pedal so i should be able to finish the process the old fashioned way with my wife's help!

in the mighty vac instructions, it says to start with the wheel closest to master cylinder, and work your way out (LF, RF, LR, RR) but i have always heard and done just the opposite....RR, LR, RF, LF......which is correct, or does it matter a great deal? thanks, Rick

Other than the inside bleeder on the rear calipers needing to be done before the outside bleeder on the same caliper, it really doesn't make a difference.

I was told of a trick a long long time ago regarding bleeding brakes ...

... jack up the rear of the car and crack open the two rear caliper bleed valves just enough to let air escape, and leave that way overnight. In the morning, tighten up the bleeders and you'll have pedal.

It worked for me several times through the years with no ill effect.

we bled the brakes out tonight the conventional way (after getting a pedal established with the mighty vac) and it went quick and smooth. i sure wish i would have had one of these mighty vacs YEARS AGO! i have fought many a brake systems over the years (after complete resto with new calipers, lines and master) to even get a pedal. this was a piece of cake! thanks, Rick

Start furthest away from the MC and move accordingly. As mentioned, bleed the inside/inner bleeder of the rear calipers first.

I ditched my Mighty Vac for a Motive, couldn't be happier.
