Hi 69T-F,
I believe the casting # 3917291 was used for 300 and 350 hp engines during the 68 model year.
I believe the B208 casting date indicates a head cast on February (B), 20th (20), of 1968 (8).
I believe The GM24 is a mold designation.
Regards,
Alan

1969 convertible..Car was sold to me as 350HP but i discovered that it is matching numbers 300HP car (HZ in engine block)

But it has 350HP valve covers 350HP sticker + 350HP center console decal. Sticker tuning?

what is difference 300HP and 350HP engine? Cylinder heads?

L-46 was HP block with 4 bolt mains, special performance cam, big valve heads, Higher compression, forged crank , forged rods, special pistons, deep groove pulleys , air cleaner is diff, pretty much everything is different . Nearly every major component part number is different. L46 is a very cool engine option for the day .

Not with the 291 heads you asked about.

You can stick a sticker on anything.

What are the numbers stamped on the pad?
