they are correct. 1973. Im sure you know this but the brackets and velcro encompass the pad on the right aw various places. they line up the actual top but I have bee unable to find the brackets. Would better pics help?
Hi M,
I THINK those are 78-82 fiberglass roof panels.
They appear to be very different than the earlier year's panels.
I think you need to be looking for the later parts. Will the locating and locking mechanism used on these later panels work on your 73?
Regards,
Alan
If you're missing some of the metal brackets that the Velcro buttons are riveted to you may be out of luck, I could not find a source when I was looking for them. You can get the Velcro buttons, but not the metal brackets. If you do find the brackets you might want to try Goop brand household adhesive to re-bond them to the headliner, it works very well because it soaks into the fiber board a bit and remains slightly flexible, unlike a typical epoxy. Your donor headliner panel looks a bit rough, it might work just fine for your project, but all things considered it might just be better off buying new roof trim panels (Yeah, they are expensive!).

The picture has the fiberglass top on the left and the pad on the right.

The "new" ones i looked at are the newer versions that are screw on not velcro.
Hi M,
My only point is those are 78+ up tops, not 68-77 tops, and I don't know if the mounting/locking hardware that fits those tops will fit your 73.
