Default Having issues with power window

I'm having issues with my power windows. The windows will not go all the way up with the door close. The drivers will go up with the door open, but the pass will not go up even with the door open. I have to pull on the window up in order for it to go up all the way.
I have played with the adjustments and while I can get it worse,I can't get it better. Would this be a bad motor, bad gear regulator on the motor or both?

I recently replaced the door panels on my '75 and found the same problem with the passenger side. Found that there is a groove running up the door panel that part of the window track or mechanism rides in. It was binding and keeping it from going all the way up. Have you removed the door panels lately? I am assuming you did to adjust the window tracks.

I have. I just reinstalled the door after removing them and completly O/H them. The motors ran the glass up and down with no issues while on the work stand. Not so once installed

Door glasses are set to seal against the top and halo panel weatherstripping, not dig into it. This may require moving the top edge of the window out, if needed. The AIM has a step by step page of instructions with diagrams on how to set the door glasses.

It's piddly business, but do-able. At a minimum, one beer per glass - sippin' slow.

Could be a bad switch. Over time the switches become corroded and build resistance. I was having the same problem you describe and replacing the switch solved the issue. Try the driver’s side switch on the passenger side.

Here is what my switch looked like inside once I took it apart:
