Default frame Question
will a 79 or 80 frame fit a 1974 body. The 74 is totally rusted out and i need to replace it.

Not quite. Rear is different on the 79-80 frame due to the relocation of the fuel tank for the big back window installation. Differential carrier is also different on the 80.

What years will fit the 74 without to much alternations

keen parts had an original 74 frame for sale and 74 is alone. 5133533449

74-77 possibly, but the rear tail light set up for 74 is unique and one year only. http://www.71corvette.com/frames.html
