I just wanted to come by and introduce myself. My name is Jim. I just bought a 78 silver anniversary edition Vette. After seven years Vetteless, I made a deal with my wife that if I made MSgt I could buy a Vette. Well, I made it and I bought a C3. Some of you may remember my 1990 ZR-1 #1064. I had the engine powder coated green with red lettering. I had to get rid of it for divorce reasons. Anyway, I will be picking up the 78 in a couple of days and am anxious to share and learn what I can do with this car. Currently, the paint is probably a 9 out of 10, The interior is about a 7 . The Engine is a fresh rebuild with a SS headers and a Holley 750 (which I think is too much carb, but that will be rectified in the future.) and a high rise intake. I do not know how to post pics or I would.

Yeah, I would have made it last year but I decided to be a minute late and I didn't get to test. And, of course in the tradition of my life, I waited until the lowest promotion rate in 30 years to decide to make it. My cutoff score went from 317 last year to 338 this year.
