Default Tire Pressure

I have 225/70/r15 BFG Redline tires by Diamond Back on my 72.
They suggest 38 PSI.
What do you run for tire pressure?
Thanks Tom.

At 38 psi, the car will ride harder than a rock. Normal tire pressure for that size tire with a vehicle weight of the C3 would be in the 28-32 psi range. I would run them in the 30-32 psi range. Did the manufacturer give you a "range" of tire pressure or only the 38 psi number?

Tom, I have the same redline radial tires on my 68. 30 lbs cold is right on the money

38 is way too high and when warmed up would be well over 40 lbs.

I ran my Firestone's at 30lbs this last trip 1,500 miles Over the winter when I ran to Miami just over 3,000 miles round trip I ran at 32 lbs. I like the feel of 30. I ran 32 due to the curves in Kentucky and Tennessy. Al
