Default Salvage yards

I'm in Windsor, Ontario, Canada looking for an area salvage yard for Corvettes.
Got a project I have been wanting to do for a while and now is the time.
I have a 1974 coupe. I am looking for something that I can't find, probably
because I can't think of the proper name for it.
At one time one of the previous owner blew a half shaft which tore up the
floor underneath the battery. It was half-*** fixed, but I would like to fix
it right.
What I am looking for is the underside of the battery. The fibreglass floor
that the battery sits on. I would like to glass it back in so it looks right
from the underside the car.
Anybody got a 74 body they feel like cutting up? I can't seem to find this from any supplier.
So, any Ontario, or Michigan Corvette salvage yards? Preferably one that won't bend me over and rape me. My past dealing with some of these places wasn't nice.

Do you have the ebay link, or at least what they are calling it?
Thanx

I've picked up a few things there - seem to be decent guys to deal with.

Give Ken from Ken's Corvette part (Kitchener) a call, he has several scrapped C3 to part out.
He always gave me fair price.

You may have to go to the West coast, there are a few on the lower mainland. Canada Post is cheap or the 'Greyhounder' for shipping.

There is also a used Corvette parts dealer in Red Deer AB that may have what you need. Check the Auto Traders.

Ken was my first thought, but he has moved, and downsized. He is now dealing mainly in new parts and getting out of salvaging.

I was pointed to SoCal vettes and within minutes of my I quite Steve replied with a great price.

I have a salvage yard close to me that has a few C3 corvettes sitting around. I find it always fun to walk around the yard to find something interesting. Trouble is they don't let you in unless you have something specific to look for.
This will give me a reason to go look. I could do it on Friday morning!

You need the whole bucket area behind the drivers seat? Also, anybody know what other years will fit? All C3's from 68 to 77 work?

I've done a lot of business with J&D Corvettes at Bellflower, Ca. They have a large salvage yard and they do ship internationally. I've been there several times when they've had pallets of stuff to be shipped internationally. Also, because they are a Southern California salvage yard, there is some probability that their parts have been less exposed to rain and salty road environments. I bought a windshield door linkage (70 Vette) from a Michigan salvage yard, and it ...although sandblasted and painted...still showed signs of significant rusting. I later bought the same part from J&D with no sign of rust damage.
