Floor mat question
OK,..I just purchsed a set of supposedly original style floor mats for my car. I purchased them from ACC Carpet,..through a major vendor.
When they arrived, one of them has a big "V" shaped notch cut out of it.
My question is,...which side does the notched mat go on?
And WHY does it have the notch? It doesn't fit anything on either side of my floor boards?
I have gone on line and every set of C3 mats I see has this same notch.
I have tried it on both sides and it doesn't conform to either side and looks odd.
Any input?

The mat with the notch is for the pass. side. On my '77 there is a slight bump in the floor pan in that area and the notch allows the mat to lay flat around the bump. Very minor of course. mike...
