Default Corvettes at Warplane Museum

A few vette but mostly vintage planes at a GM show at the Hamilton Ontario Warplane Museum.

Thanks Paul, hadn't seen those.
Thank-you for the nice comments all, it was both interesting and hard to see some of the planes and bombers that my father had trained on and later flew during WW2. My wife has more pics on her cell that I will upload tonight.

My Father was trained as a WAG (Wireless Air Gunner) on Lancasters. So that Lanc at Hamilton is pretty interesting to me.

To those a little younger the WAG was the person who manned the upper gun turret and served also as a navigation/radio (wireless) person just below the turret.

The museum has a room full of base plus aircraft navigation/radio equip't. If the pics that my wife took on her cell are good I will upload them as well. One cannot visit a museum like this without coming away with immense gratitude, respect and gracefulness to all who served and currently serve.

Thanks for sharing. 2 of my favorite things in 1 place. Airplanes and corvettes. Is that German jet an ME 262? Nice little collection of warbirds.
