Default 1976 leaf spring

Need help just replaced my leaf spring bolts. I was wondering how much to tighten up the knew bolts on leaf spring is there a certain lbs of pressure or till u run out of threads or just till its tight? Thanks 4 the help I'm clueless!!

If you are referring to the bolts between spring and trailing arm, those are "adjustment" bolts for the height of the rear end (on each side). Opening the bolt raises the rear; tightening it will lower the rear.

12 years too late coming to the party, but...
No, tightening those bolts' nuts will raise the rear of the car, not lower it.
Remember that the trailing arm ain't goin' nowhere. The leaf spring is what will go up when tightening that bolt/nut...and the car will go up with it.
