Default Photobucket question

I had some pics of the engine and undercarriage of the car I'm looking at and the mechanic emailed some to my home computer. I looked at the sticky about photobucket but I'm not tech savvy and not sure if they can be posted that way? I have a photobucket account. Do the pics have to come from a cell phone and be downloaded into the computer or is there a way to get them from email to PB account? If I can't and anybody wants to look at pics you can PM me with email and I will send them out when I get home from work this afternoon? I'm going to send them to my mechanic today, too.
Thanks guys!

I will try to help you.
First you need to save the pictures you received by email to your computer.
I have a mac, so mine are in iPhoto.
Next, sign in to your photo bucket and download the pictures to one of your albums.
Then you can follow the instruction in the sticky about posting your photos on the forum.

What Donnie said. If you are using Windows 7 the pictures may be in your downloads folder. Click Upload in Photobucket and drag the pictures into the box. If your going to keep different things create an Albums to separate everything.

Hi tdl,
If you go to your Photobucket account and click on UPLOAD you'll see the different methods you can upload pictures.
For instance you can upload directly from an iPhone with an app, but from your computer it's like Donnie and dd described.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan

yes you can email directly to your photobucket account. when you signed up for photobucket you were assigned a specific photobucket email address that is all yours. forward those emails with attached pics to your photobucket email address.
see the help pages in photobucket as to exactly how. they will probably show up in a default picture folder.

Just make sure the folder in Photobucket is public or we won't be able to see the pics.

If you click on the IMG box you will see it turn yellow and say Copied.

Then open up a Reply window and right click in the window and select paste and then click the Submit Reply and the pictures will appear as they do in this post.

When I'm using phone pictures, I email them to my personal computer. Then after I download them I can crop and clean them up if I choose. Then when I upload from Photobucket, I just pick it up wherever I saved it on my computer. Very simple, but there's many ways to do the same thing.
