Looking for 1980 (C3 seats)
Does anyone know if later model Corvette seats will fit a 1980?

Yes, but they sit higher. If you're tall you won't like them.

I've got C5 seats in my '70 and had to mount them hard to the floor to get enough head room to not break my neck getting in and out.

Any year C4-C6 non-power seat can be made to fit. None bolt right in, you have to make custom tracks/brackets.

C-3 seats/headlights
Thanks for the information. Do you know what you need to get to fix the headlights?

They will not go down, they are stuck in the up position.

Try the black vacuum **** under the dash, just below the steering column.

It's the headlight over ride which allows the lights to remain up while you do maintenance.
Order an owner's manual for your 80. The owner's manual explains the over ride and is full of other useful information you need to know about the car.

if you consider seats other than corvette you may want to check out some fiero or 1st gen toyota mr 2 seats. i have these in my 77. very comfy and they mount very easily. i have a fixed steering column and have plenty of clearance with my legs and headroom to spare. i only had to slightly modify the yota seat tracks to bolt right down. plus theyre 19 inches wide. same as your average c3 seat. not to mention they are dirt cheap. ive bought 3 sets ( i really love em!) for 100.00 a set.
