Just read another bio on the man....he owned 3 different vettes.....wrecked at least one of them.
Wonder if anyone knows where the others are?

They say he bought one in California and wrecked it.
The second one was bought in New York - NO mention of it ever being wrecked....?????!!!!!!!
Would hold quite a value to collectors if it was found and could be verified as his...

There's a collector that has it, I had seen it about 15 yrs ago. He was trying to sell his whole collection..100's of cars and thousands of parts. I have it on video, just gotta find it, had all sorts of cars, daytonas, camaros, vettes , cud as...ect.. . It was a barn finders dream. I think at the time he wanted a million for everything including the property....maybe it was more, my memory is shot. But the Hendrix vette is out there.

I have one that I bought from a guy in Long Island NY that looks crazy enough it could have been owned by Jimmy, not that I think it was, but who knows. The guy I bought it from said Enzo Stuardi owned it ( who knows for sure), but he was an opera singer....music connection?
Anyway, I know it's not everyone's ( or anyone's ) cup of tea, but It was a cheap 68 L71(nom
) 4sp so I said what the hell. I have a 68 SB that's all original, so I needed a BB I could mess with. Still haven't cut all the crazy crap off of it, and not sure if I will at this point. For better or worse it gets a lot of looks wherever I take it.
