Default Mistery shield.. Where does this go?

I'm piecing the rear suspension together while I'm waiting on my trailing arms to come back and I have this shield in my parts box. I know I took it off of the rear spring assembly because it was covered in, well.. lots of years of crap. But I can't remember for the life of me where it goes back. I have looked through three of my parts dealer catalogues and don't see it. My CD manual is in my other car so I can't look on there. So.. Where and how does this thing go on? A picture would be great.

Thanks

The four holes in the shield look like they line up with the bolts that attach the spring to the diff..

Yes, they do, perfectly.. but I've looked at several other pictures of other cars and don't see any shield, as yours doesn't .. I just got my Assembly manual disk. Going to look on there.
My car did have the one off 11 leaf spring on it too so maybe it was another PO job?

Check the exhaust section in the AIM. Looks like the heat shield for the differential/spring.

If the rear spring has been converted to a monoleaf unit, that heat shield fits on the bottom, between the spring and the exhaust tubing.

I picked up a stock 9 leaf spring and will install that. Everything will be stock but mostly new. I'm going to check my AIM now.

Found it in my AIM. Thanks Mike. Just where you said...
